I have found it really hard to stay on a diet, I've decided to give up and start again when I return home after the Christmas period. I'll read a few diet books other Christmas to get back in the mood to loose some weight. I just don't have the get up and go, weight bench, exercise bike and the treadmill are not being used and havn't been for at least a month. Hopefully I will get in the mood for it, I will be hitting the big 40 in a few weeks time to have a mid life crisis… Anyway have a good Christmas and New Year!

18th - Another Weigh in.

Weigh In: 15 stone 1¼ lb
Well what can I say, I'm going to have to go for it starting tomorrow or I wont lose ½ stone before Christmas. It's my own fault I only have myself to blame. I know I've done really bad I'm really surprize I havn't put weight on the amount of Chocolate Ive been eating.. Actually today I started to do a bit of exercise of the treadmill but 15 minuates into the workout all the electric went of in my area so I stopped to see what was going on and I never got back on the thing.

Really hungry today, the Chicken Hot Pot I had for tea didnt even fill a hole theres nothing to them. Then to top it off I had no jellys or fruit I pigged out on a corneto. I did actually do a bit of exercise but I got cut off half way through. Tomorrow will be a better day it cant get any worse can it ? (if you don't get off your arse then yes).

Oh my God what the fuck I’m I doing eating that Chocolate bar?, I have not tried very hard today (you don’t say) as I have not been well (when do you feel well?) so been eating as normal. I hope that I will get back into the swing of things tomorrow at least do bit of exercise. I did get the other half to get a swimming timetable today (too lazy to get it yourself?) hopefully I’m planning going 3 times a week starting from Monday if I do an hour a day Mon, Wed and Friday I'll get back into it. I enjoy swimming I use to do a mile every time, which I think was 66 laps (it’s actually 65 laps). See how I go tomorrow its like 4:18 am I should really say today…

11th - So Where Have I Been? (Not Dieting)
Explain Myself:
First on all I have not been on the diet for the last 6 months, I have not watched what I was eating or exercised. I’ve had personal problems and everything fell to bits with the diet; that seems to happen a lot I’m just hopeless with keeping to a diet so I don’t know why you’re reading this.
What happen to the Diet?
I started the diet back in April 2008 at the beginning I weighed in at 16st 9lb. By the 4th week I managed to lose some weight I was down to 15st 10lb. In between week 05 and week 13 I wasn’t around however I lost weight but not deliberately. Week 14 (06th July) I weighed bang on 15 stone, I was healthier and felt as fit as a butchers dog. Then I did nothing until today well tomorrow, it’s now 11th November I feel extremely fat I haven’t been healthy eating or exercised at all since July. I weighed myself a while ago and I was back up to 15st 7lb I was surprised that I had only put back on 7lb since I got back.
The New Weigh In: 11th November 2008 (Week 31)
I’ve just weighed myself I wasn’t looking forward to it but amazingly I haven’t put any more weight than last time which were a month ago; in fact I’ve lost a bit and the scales are reading 15 stone 2lb, scales must be broke or something…If I could get down to let us say 14 stone 9lb for Christmas I will be a very happy chocolate Easter bunny. That gives me 6 weeks to lose ½ stone, that should be too difficult should it? Erm it is Christmas, there you go with the excuses again; Do you want to lose weight or not? Of course I do after this chocolate bar ohhh and maybe a final take out, what final as in the final one TODAY!

What Do I do Now?
Okay I have decide to try to lose some weight for Christmas just ½ stone. I’ll update the blog everyday just like as a diary just for myself. The website www.fatnakedguy.co.uk will need updating and more likely redesigning but I’ll do that another time as it will just be another reason not to go on the treadmill.You can follow me and see how I do, or give me some support leave a message!!, if not I’ll just update the blog for myself and properly argue and end up heading for the Chocolate.

First weigh in 16 stone 9lb…
First weigh in was a little higher then I expected, I put it down the the Easter Eggs.. Will have to leave the ones I haven't eaten, chocolate is my main problem love the stuff..
I've had a look around the net and I've found a few more blogs that are aimed at men that are over weight and are trying to do something about it. Might be worth wild having look at them as well..

Fat Naked Guy Starts a Blog
Ok I'm starting a blog for me and other blokes in the same boat (which will soon sink). I'm in the UK in my mid life and I'm have a little extra baggage, always have done every since school. I love Chocolate and hate exercise of any kind which doesn't help, I've been on a diet on and off for what seems forever. I have problems with my back and my legs arn't what they use to be in fact I'm feeling closer to 80 then I I'm to 40. They say life begins at 40 and I'm there at the end of the year I would like a few changes in my life and the first one is start looking after myself.
At my lightest I've been around 14st 12lb, heaviest was around 18st 7lb, I would say right now I'm about 16st 7lb, I'll jump on the scales tomorrow if there still working. I need help to loose weight, advice, links, people in the same boat, people who have managed to loose weight, I need comments…
