Day 01: Xmas Diet 28/09/09




Comments:
88 days to go to Christmas or so the TV was telling me this morning. As you can see I just gave up on the last diet yet again, no surprise there then… Well I'm going back on a diet the goal this time is to get down to 13 stone before Christmas which is just over 12 weeks away. I have just weighed myself and I'm 14st 2lb so I've got 16lb to lose in 12 weeks which works out that I need to lose 1.3lb every week until Christmas. I suppose this can be done as long as I exercise and keep away from the chocolate and ice cream, I don't think its asking too much losing 1.3lb a week. What I am worried about if I stop losing weight in a few weeks into the diet which is normally the case this lasts a couple of weeks without any weight loss this I can do without.

I've not put on much since I've not been on a diet but the point is Im not losing it neither. I need to start exercising again to burn them calories off. Anyway I'll see how it goes, no one reads this blog, I treat it just like a diary for myself well its easier then pen and paper.

Finally the weight is going down, not going to exercise today ankle is throbbing twisted it yesterday at swimming stupid kids in the way. Also my legs are hurting playing football on the beach yesterday must have pulled something. I felt a lot healthier kicking that ball around wasnt sweating and ran after the ball instead of plodding…

I've Had enough with the blog...

To be honest Im getting bored now, Ive not lost any weight. Am also finding it hard to go to the swimming baths, had a look at the new timetable and the only time I can go is morning 7.00am-9.00am. The rest of the time is free swimming for the kids now there on summer holiday, waste of time...

I'll might pop back once a week for an update, Ill watch what Ill eat but wont write it down anymore, after 5 weeks I know what calories are in what not a problem, Ill still weigh stuff out though...

Totally fucked off today, weighed myself god knows why I the weigh in day is now Tuesday and its only Saturday and Ive lost a big fat fucking nothing, whats the bloody point... I'm exercising, eating a lot less then the recommended calories and still for the 2nd week running Ive lost bugger all.. If I had 20 bars of chocolate in the house I would just eat tme all in one go... But I don't have any not a one :( Ive also no Fruit Cocktail, yougurt or mousse left might as well forget it at this rate...

Over slept this morning didnt wake up untill 11:00 am Im normally up at 7:30 so I missed the exercise bike this morning. However I made up for it in swimming I did 70 laps without stopping which is over a mile and to be honest if I had more time I could had done even more. The kids have now finish school for the summer holidays and the baths timetable will change and not for the better. Hopefully be able to get a timetable tomorrow, Im feeling good about myself but finding it hard again to stop weighing myself will have to move them again. I can see I've lost weight over the last 5 weeks it showing a bit but still a shit load more to go...

Went swimming again, renewed my membership card which means its a pound cheaper everytime I go swimming which is good news as the card was only £7.50. Enjoyed swimming again did the fifty laps a bit quicker as public swimming was only an hour today so I managed it in 50 mins, 5 mins rest and a quick shower then peddled home on the bike. With the kids finishing school for the school holidays this week the time table changes again which will be bad news as they put free swimming on and theres hardly and decent times for public swimming. Don't want to start going in the morning as I'm not a morning person and I don't fancy jumping in the sea bit cold for that yet. Anyway Ill just wait and see, not tried the mini tampoline yet but I will do soon honest...

Been a real bad day for me today :( the other half decided to bring chocolate into the house, why she does this I don't know... If it were here I wouldn't bloody eat it, I feel all bloated and fat and regretting it all. Not looking to the weigh in tomorrow. Again not done any exercise due to resting the ankle its feeling a lot better will get back to exercising tomorrow. I've a mini trampoline, had it for ages one of the kids bought a small one before they bought the larger one in the garden and got a spare one sent. I was thinking about trying it doing a bit of exercising on it, I think they call it rebounding or something like that Ill try and dig it out tomorrow.

Comments:
Went swimming again did 50 laps of 25 metres breast stroke without stopping, took 55 mins and I went for it a bit more than yesterday. Didn’t get cramp just ran out of time, don't think I'll go at the weekend it gets to crowded with kids and its hard to swim laps. Also I cycled to and from the baths which is better for me as its a lot quicker and I can get there in under 10 mins which means more time to swim. Had a shower after swimming which I don’t normally do and washing most of the Chlorine of from the baths helped with the tiredness after swimming, yes I was still knackered but not as much. I might go for a bike ride tomorrow not far just to Rhyl and back around 8 miles or I might go on the seafront if the weather permits. Got a new bike awhile back only just started to use it need to get a few bits a decent seat and a time/distance monitor so I know how much I've done..

Oh Well I actually went swimmimg today had to stop though as I was getting cramp and I didnt want to over due it and bloody drown. Another week another weigh in, well its going in the right derection but not as fast as I would like it too. Anyway when I first started the diet my target weight was 14st 7lb which Im almost there. However that was a long time ago when I was 20 stone, I want to get to 14st before I go and visit family which will be in around 3½ weeks. Im going to exercise my bollocks off and see if I can get there, so were taking losing 2½lb a week which if I start swimming I should be able to do it. Lets wait and see…

I've been having really bad problems going to the toilet for the last few days. Today I had Beef mincemeat Vindaloo with extra Chilli Sauce on a Jacket Potatoe to see if the problem was as simple as there was nothing in my stomach. Guess what that seem to be the problem, the Movicol or the suppository tablets weren't working. I eat quite a bit of fibre, baked beans, jacket potatoes and I have fruit well fruit cocktail, Ive cut down a hell of a lot in my food intake and cut out any sort of bread. I'll have to look into and see what I can do. I didnt have loads of Vindaloo but the other half didnt weigh the stuff out as getting me to go to the toilet was more important today. So the calories are unknowm today if I have to guess I would say no more than 1000 calories but I couldn't swear on it so today Ill leave it blank???

Comments:
Diet still going well, still not had them chocolate bars don't know where this will power has come from but I hope it stays with me. From tomorrow I have decided to go on the exercise bike twice a day but only burning 200cals per session which will take around 17 mins each. On the poor excuse of a diet I was on before this I was burning 400 calories on the bike at a time but one it took too long to do and I was totally knackered after it, also my legs would really ache so much that I wouldn't bother the day after. I've also given the scales to the other half to hide and only allow me to have them on Monday which is the weigh in day. I wanted to jump on the scales every time I past them but if I put weight on or not lost any it would put me in why Im I doing this mood and head for the chocolate.

Day 01: New Diet - 15st 1¼lb

A new diet, I'm really determined.. It starts today no more chocolate bars, no more crisps or full fat fizzy pop. I've lost a couple of pound since a few days ago just getting ready for the diet so I'm happy about lets hope it keeps going in that direction. I'm hopping to get down to 14-7lb a couple of weeks into the kids summer holidays, thats when we normally go and vistit family for a week or so in Manchester.

On the website I've added some older photographs that show of my body shape from the last few years, I've also included some from today (same as above but larger) so I can keep an eye on myself. I'll add more photos once a month, I don't think you will see a lot of difference if I added them every week or so. Week One again !!!!! Starts on the 15th June 2009

Yes its me again been awhile hasn't it… Getting in the mood again to lose a bit of weight around the bit in the middle, about time. I'm I going to stick to it this this, YES of course haven't I always :) anyway I've eaten up all the chocolates bars and all the unhealthy food so theres nothing left.. I've also just opened a twitter account which anyone is welcome to comment on and leave tweets and you can follow me http://twitter.com/fatnakedguy


So have a put loads of weight on since I could be bothered updating well nothing I can't lose within a week or two, I'm just going the weigh myself.. to the kitchen we go past all the food...










So there it is 15 stone 4lb, so Ive put on 3lb a good curry should fix that :)

I quit too easily, I can't say no to the odd take out and chocolate seems to be my best friend. Just found a dark chocolate bar with a Jaffa flava inside, wow its the best love it hard been in the fridge for a while.

Well to be Frank I've done No exercise for what seems ages, exercise bike, weights, multi gym, MTB bike, swimming, walking machine, I've done nothing at all.

Well I'm going to get the website, twitter and this blog in order and start looking forward to the diet again, I'll dust the exercise bike off as well.

Ok I'll get on with things back soon, Monday at the latest.

No Im not Dead Far from it…

26th Feb 2009

Well what happened:

Nothing, gave up… However Im really feeling fat and bloated can remeber last time I actually worked out. I tell a lie it was about 5 weeks ago I start lifting weights around 6 weeks ago for a week or so. I actually put weight on over that week and I got so pissed off I stopped, I think I went up to 15-7 at the end of the week. Anyway I was just watching TV and say a last bit of The Feel Good Factor or something like that it was on ITV, apartently its been on for a few weeks already but this was the first time I've heard about it.

I've checked the website and signed up, what I can see its something to do with raising money for charity £1 for every 1lb you lose, I want to know what happens if you put weight on do you take a 1lb from charities. Anyway I've decided to give it a go again and try and get some weight off as at the moment I really feeling huge. I weighed myself as the Feel good factor wanted me to enter all the details, I wasnt going to do this but eventually I did and it was a bit of a surprise! I weighed in at the usually 15st 2lb a week working out and Ill be back on track below 15 stone I hope.










Ok lets get back on track, I know no ones reads this but hell I'm doing this for me and hopefully I can read all this once Ive reach my final weight. I wont be writing everyday maybe once or twice a week, lets see how it goes.
